Black And Yellow Mud Dauber Wasp - Sceliphron caementarium

Black And Yellow Mud Dauber Wasp - Sceliphron caementarium
Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
September 15, 2010
I found this one drowning and fished it out, but it didn't survive in the end. This particular specimen struck me when I viewed the photos at a later time as having about the longest spurs on its back legs that I have ever seen on a wasp. These guys are not as common as they should be and don't take to having their picture taken.
