Choristoneura rosaceana - male

Choristoneura rosaceana - Male
south of St. Mary's Road, north of Eno River St. Pk,, Orange County, North Carolina, USA
September 12, 2010
Detail with what I interpret to be the character noted by Covell (1) indicated by the "- >" marks:

FW in male has a costal fold from base to top of am. line, where dark scale tufts lie flat, forming a dark spot absent in similar species (magnification needed).
