Virgin Tiger Moth?

Grammia sp.
But I was thinking Grammia parthenice.

Only a suggestion. The hindwing seems more correct, and some G. parthenice pages say that they are more likely to fly this time of year.

I agree
Grammia parthenice. G. virgo's flight period is long finished by late September, and this is clearly a nice fresh individual.
