One day old pupa. After drying and hardening the pupa darkened. The adult will emerge next year during the summer monsoons, typically late July through August.
A clutch of eggs was obtained from a wild female and reared indoors on mesquite leaves, Prosopis velutina. Photographs that were not positively of the same individual were not linked.
