Rhynocoris Assassin Bug - Rhynocoris ventralis
Duck Lake area, 3 miles north of Westwood; elevation about 5300ft, Lassen County, California, USA

Size: Body length 11mm
Found this assassin bug on some wild flower within the meadows just east of Duck Lake. I have placed this specimen here based on appearance similarity, and with the understanding of the "unresolved nature of this species complex." Confirmation/correction welcome!
