syrphid? - Copestylum
Organ Mountains, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA
March 26, 2006
Unknown syrphid. Found on Rhus trilobata. Similar in size and proportions to Copestylum mexicana, which was seen on the same bushes.

Well, that would explain why I thought it looked an awful lot like the other Copestylum!
