Cricket - Orocharis - female

Cricket - Orocharis - Female
Slidell, Pearl River WMA, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA
September 30, 2010
Size: ~3cm
This cool cricket looks like it's cross-eyed. Probably not, though. Is that an ovipositor I see fading into the distance?

I'm not certain off-hand if it is O. saltator,
(probably) or another, but the genus is correct for sure.

Moved from ID Request.

Reminds me of
Orocharis:

Not necessarily the species illustrated--but maybe something in that neighborhood?

Let's see if anyone else agrees.
