Beside pond. Compared to #45641, this Enallagma has larger eyespots and a larger spot on segment 2 (if I understand what Gayle was referring to). Is there enough detail for a species ID? Larger version here.

Your careful photography made this one easy! We believe you have Enallagma ebrium. Lam says "cerci distinctly forked". Your photo of the appendages clearly shows this feature. No other similiar Enallagms has forked cerci. Also, the eyespots are a perfect match.
