Southern Spring Azure - Celastrina ladon
Paris Mountain State Park, Greenville County, South Carolina, USA

There were several of these butterflies along the trail. Most were too active to photograph, but this one stood still long enough.

From browsing BugGuide, it looks like it could be the Southern Spring Azure.

Had a busy winter and start to spring; this is my first bug photo of 2006.
