Moved from Bird Grasshoppers.

A last instar nymph of a Bird Grasshopper
It's very hard to tell species of the nymphs apart. However, this one has a bit of a "different" look, and I'm guessing, based on the shape and coloring that it is S. damnifica (and I might be totally wrong too, but I think I'm correct). This is one of the most distinctive species of the genus that occurs in the U.S., and this one matches quite nicely.

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

S. damnifica
I agree, this looks like the S. damnifica nymphs I've found in Brazos county.

Moved from Arthropods.
