Here is an amazing one. In detritus collected at 10000' elev. This tiny blind, flightless Staph is probably an undescribed Genus. The others in this subfamily are mostly from CA except one from Alaska and one from Florida.
Addendum: I've sent some to Vladimir Gusarov and he has verified that all my specimens are female. He suspects that these are parthenogenic. I have now collected over 50 specimens and all are female.
