Small Feathery Moth - Alucita

Small Feathery Moth - Alucita
Lucky Lake, Southern, Saskatchewan, Canada
October 20, 2010
Size: 8 - 10 mm
We headed down to the farm on the weekend and I found a couple of these small moths in the house. They are such delicate fliers. Any Ideas?

Moved from ID Request. Based on the Balabans comment.

I noticed that all the photos of these moths in the guide are with wings open. Are they truly like the less 'feathered' Plume moths that always have their wings outstretched?

Yes - Feathery
Check out Alucita in the guide here

Thank you!
Beautiful little moth :-)

Wow....

Thanks
for that! I actually got some Tree Cricket photos when we were down at the farm also.
