Characters for ID
In addition to the characters in the key in Arnett(1), comments here say that the presence or absence of scales on the basal segments of the antennae are important for ID. The shape of ocelli can also distinguish some taxa. Unfortunately the only key to species I know of is limited to the Northeast region.
