Scorpion - Centruroides exilicauda or Centruroides sculpturatus - not sure? - Anuroctonus pococki
San Clement, Orange County, California, USA
October 28, 2010
Size: 6-7cm
Saw this scorpion hiking the trails up behind the area of San Clemente. This would board San Juan Capistrano and the Camp Pendalton Marine Base. Any idea of what kind of scorpion it is? I tried looking it up but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for any feeback!

Thanks Gordon
This species has very large hands, Centruroides scorpions have long and slender hands and tail. =)
