Conotrachelus cameronensis Sleeper - Closely related to C. texanus Schaeffer for which it has been mistaken. C. cameronensis differs from the types of texanus as follows: larger, more elongate; striae of elytra not impressed (in texanus deeply impressed), punctures of pronotum finer; erect scales longer, recumbent scales much narrower. (Sleeper 1954)
