Based on distributions in AB, probably S. porosus. Will try to dig up key.

Possibly S. porosus
Leconte's description states that the species has straight (vs angulate) sides on the thorax, and differs from S. niger in having a more densely punctured pronotum. That seems to match up well with this specimen (though I can't really make out if the pronotum is actually heavily punctured). But who knows how many species truly occur in the southwest... could just as easily be something undescribed.
