Squash/Thick-legged bug - Merocoris typhaeus

Squash/Thick-legged bug - Merocoris typhaeus
Jupiter, Florida, USA
July 5, 2004
This was shot in a dry wetland area. I have encountered these tiny Thick-legged/Squash bugs in the drier grassy areas of South Florida. They are only 10-15mm in length and have been tough to get a good shot of. I also have a shot of a dorsal view as well:

Merocoris sp?
This could be a species of the genus Merocoris. Check out this shot from Cedar Creek's website.
