Perdita ericameriae - female

Perdita ericameriae - Female
Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station, Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, USA
November 15, 2010
Size: 6mm
Observed while collecting pollen in Ericameria pinifolia, netted and cooled for photos.
ID by Doug Yanega who comments, "They're likely to be P. ericameriae, actually - but there are a few very similar species in that complex, and being 100% certain of an ID often requires both sexes. However, from Claremont, it's a virtual guarantee to be ericameriae."
