Nice find!

Here in the South, depending on elevation and latitude, these moths can usu. be seen flying between mid-October into December.

f.y.i. Over the last few decades, they seem to have become less common in some areas.

Wow! You are fast! Thank you for the help. I spent this past summer and fall laid up from a horseback riding accident. The good news was that I ID'd 26 different kinds of butterflies from my deck, and learned a little bit about how to use my new camera. It is all good!
