Perched near some of its hostplant, Yucca filamentosa, cultivated in its native habitat. Looks to be a female, based on Randy Emmitt's photos. Also, I believe I saw this same individual ovipositing nearby. (Note, of course, the large abdomen on this individual.) The flight of the female is much more labored than that of the male, which is very active. (Thanks to Scott Hartley for directing me to this population.)
