I think the "nearly straight" embolus base (Dondale, 1990) makes this A. aculeata.

The abdominal pattern and colors are so different from some of the other males I've put into the aculeata species page that I'm going to revisit those specimens and take another look at their palps. I might dissect out the embolus in each one for a better look at the base, to try and rule out A. kochii as the other possibility. Dondale mentions that the abdomens of kochii males can have some orange coloring.
