Saw this one just today
Came here to look for it. At first I thought it was a bumble bee that had lost its wings. Then I saw the interesting markings. It was very furry. I let it climb on my hand and it flew away so I didn't get a picture. My bad- I didn't know it could fly!

Just saw this beetle today
I was out walking today when this beetle crossed my path on the road. A UPS driver was nearby and actually came over to look at it with me. He said, "It's furry!" To which I replied, "Yeah, and it has really long eyelashes!" Then he said, "Better out here than in your house!"
Thank you for having this site/picture/information. I was able to quickly identify this beetle thanks to you.

Bumble Flower Beetle
I found a couple of these roaming around my room the other day. I have a really good picture of one, how do I post it?
