Size: 8.3 mm
The reddish-orange color of the carapace and legs seems typical. Dondale et al. (2003) cite Tyschenko et al. (1985) as reporting that they are often found in the same locations as cornutus "but may be more common on buildings or bridges, particularly those surrounded by coniferous trees", a situation which certainly applies to this specimen. Given those circumstances, the orange-red coloring might prove to be quite useful as Martin Lemke's photo demonstrates:
