There don't seem to be many photos of males. From the ones I've seen, the males tend to have a lot of orange color in their legs. I'm not sure if that is typical. The curling of the antennas suggest male to me.

Thanks, for your input! In view of it's common name, "Yellow-legged Paper Wasp" I was a bit surprised by the red legs, but I hope to hear if this is common or not.

 
Hmm...
It would seem that the common name is off-base on this one. :) I wonder if that's just in the males?
