Size: ~10mm total length.
Here's another photo of a syrphid taken a couple of years ago. I hadn't bothered to post it previously because I had posted photos of several similar individuals, all of which were IDed as Eupeodes sp.; but now that Ron Hemberger has kindly IDed most of them as Eupeodes volucris, I'm posting this one just to verify that it is also E. volucris.
