Male ceratopogonid - species ID? - Forcipomyia - Male
Chamblee, DeKalb County, Georgia, USA
November 25, 2010
At back porch light.

Moved
Moved from Biting Midges.

Thank you.
It has returned already to the back porch light.

Maybe Forcipomyia
Antenna segments are long and cylindrical, the radial veins seem to end about mid-wing, and it looks hairy. That combination suggests Forcipomyia. I can't rule out Ceratopogoninae.
