I came across this caterpillar on a plant stem. Looks rather fungus-ridden.

Inch worm?
Hard to tell but it looks like it could be a Geometrid. Poor thing!

 
3 pairs of prolegs?
There seem to be three pairs of prolegs, which would be one too many... maybe some kind of noctuid?

This may be a fungus victim, but a virus or bacterium could be responsible--I'm not entirely sure.
