Sand Spider - Pardosa

Sand Spider - Pardosa
Huntington Beacn, Bolsa Chica Wetlands, Orange County, California, USA
December 16, 2010
Size: Between 1/4 and 1/2 inche
It was very hard to see this spider as it scuttled across the damp sand in short bursts.

Moved
Moved from Wolf Spiders.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Being on the beach might help us ID it eventually.

It was in the wetlands, near the water
not on the beach proper, if that helps narrow things down at all.

The eyes say wolf spider
in the Lycosidae
