Myzus persicae - female

Myzus persicae - Female
Prosser, Benton County, Washington, USA
This is an oviparous female of Myzus persicae, on an ornamental flowering cherry tree (Prunus). I had thought this was a Rhopalosiphum until I got the specimen under a microscope and then mounted on a microscope slide for identification. Goes to show how important it is to follow procedure!
