I think the only species
of Tegeticula in Iowa would be T. yuccasella, but I could be mistaken. Yucca Moths do look much like the one in your photo.

I am not sure how to tell from just a photo, but it could also be Prodoxus decipiens (often considered as an eastern variant of P. quinquepunctellus), which also looks pretty much exactly like the one you photographed.
