Size: 7mm
A highly prized photo of mine. I didn't have any trouble with them being skittish. I could get right next to them to take the photo. I'll have to post a photo of the habitat soon. I believe this is either E. ruscarius or E. californicus. I have the specimen, so I will examine it under the microscope and ID it to species later.

NOTE: The spot on the posterior end of the right elytron is my watermark and not part of the insect. This aids in preventing the illegal use of my photograph. If you need a copy of a photo without a watermark please see my licensing agreement on my bio.
