Could this be Misumena vatia - Goldenrod Crab Spider, or Misumenoides formosipes - Whitebanded Crab Spider? I'm having a hard time telling these two species apart, even with the excellent descriptions on the info pages.

Not Misumenoides,
but can't be certain whether Mecaphesa or Misumena

Thanks for ruling out Misumenoides. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I got of this individual, so we might not get this one figured out. :(
