it moves quickly. looks similar to Tegenaria but back markings and abdomen slightly different insomuch as there is a triangle in a circle on its back. a center line down the abdomen.

Sparassid
giant crab spider. also harmless to humans despite their huge size. they prefer feasting on cockroaches. this spider also only occurs in the temperate regions of the country (the south)

Agreed.
Your specimen is a male "huntsman" spider, Heteropoda venatoria. We used to keep these at a zoo where I once worked. They could practically perform time travel they were so fast:-) Even knowing they are harmless didn't keep me from getting a little agitated.
