Butterfly ID? - Celastrina echo - female

Butterfly ID? - Celastrina echo - Female
Tucson (Desert Museum), Pima County, Arizona, USA
January 21, 2011
This was one of the few -and the only small blue - butterflies seen at the Desert Museum on my visit on Jan 21.

It is indeed a female Azure
In that area they can fly any month of the year, and in theory they are all one species - Celastrina echo.

Moved from ID Request.

Perhaps
Female Spring Azure (Celastrina ladon)
