Glyphonyx 02 - Glyphonyx nanus

Glyphonyx 02 - Glyphonyx nanus
Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA
June 3, 2007
Size: ~ 3.5 mm
Glyphonyx sp. Suspect is G. ferruginosus.

Moved
Moved from Glyphonyx.

Glyphonyx feruginosus and G. nanus are best separated by genitilia. I am nervous dissecting something this small, but in all three specimens, they elytra are consistantly under 3 mm. They also seem consistantly paler than G. ferruginosis.
