Microtrombidiidae
Just curious.... are you collecting all these mites for a course, research, or fun? If you're interested in more diversity, you should try pitfalling. This is the best way to get Erythraeidae, another hugely diverse velvet mite family.

Many Thanks
I'm officially working on beetles in dead wood, but I've also done a lot of litter sifting for research as well. I try to keep all my residues just in case someday in the far future someone can do something with them. These IDs are for the fun of it, but if this works out well I might try to take pictures of all the cool stuff I don't know and make a cheat sheet for myself.
