incertus/depurator
impossible to tell from the images, may be really hard even with good ones. Incertus is a high possibility in FL

I compared my Hister with and his discription is dead on. I am 98% sure that this is a Hister depurator. I will bring it down to FSCA on our next trip.

Histerini
needs processing [re-shooting?] to reveal details required for more specific identification

I am going to have to bring it to Bruces Gettys house, he has a much better camera

Striation and punctation are extremely important in histerid determination. Need better illumination on both the dorsal and ventral shots.

Initial guess is Hister depurator, but it's only a guess. Someone with more expertise on the southern fauna should be consulted for this one.
