Compost Inhabitant

Compost Inhabitant
Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, USA
January 29, 2010
This little red insect came out of some compost I put through a Berlese Funnel. It was TINY, so I put it under a microscope. These images were taken at 40x.

A springtail,
one of the poduromorpha.
