Moth on blueberry - Archips argyrospila

Moth on blueberry - Archips argyrospila
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, USA
April 21, 2006
Size: 8mm head to wingtip
I caught this one just emerging from its pupa in a rolled-up blueberry leaf this morning. There was evidence of several more on the bush (rolled up leaves and frass), but all had flown.

Moved
Moved from Moths. I'm also adding another image that shows the whitish costal spots that Covell uses for ID more clearly.

Possibly 3648 - Fruit-tree Leafroller Moth - Archips argyrospila
I'll ask Richard Brown to verify. Blueberry is one of the many food plants.

I notice this is still languishing at family level
I've checked your ID against Covell's (not very sharp) image and description, and it seems to be a match. I'll make a guide page.

Thanks, Bob!
I'll look forward to finding out more. Moving to moths, pending further ID.
