Baton Rouge, Brookhollow Drive, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
April 23, 2006
Size: body length 1.8 mm.
This appears similar to . It was on Japanese Honeysuckle and disappeared after one photo.

Acanalonia
Sorry, I can't give you a species name.

Acanalonia pumila
This is a full-grown nymph because it has well developed wing buds. Its tiny size indicates it must be A. pumila.

ID?
How did you get the ID? I have been looking for a good texts on Homoptera and the families and so on.

I have a similar species here in PA.

Thanks, Andy
We are quite pleased to get it to genus.
