Terry Whitworth's key to Calliphoridae is linked from the family page and you will also find ID aids on the "books" and/or "links" tabs from that page. You may need to spread the wings to look for a patch of hair underneath.

Please crop
showing it in the same jar as a beetle won't help the ID in any way, showing it larger may help the ID and will also give the guide more value if it is IDed.
