Are these Hoppers? They look like little frogs and bounce. They have stuck together the whole time 5 hours or more one carries the other around :), Maybe they just get around that way. If the male is on top, he looks blue and the female looks orange/red.

See more photos here. According to Patrick in this discussion, Gelastocoris oculatus is the only eastern species.

They really do resemble little toads.
