Size: ~10mm?
The only species of orb-weaver I encountered. Found only on steep vertical cliff faces, webs spun across crevaces or between boulders. Two different individuals in the photos (one male and one female, I think).

Moved from ID Request. Yes I agree with Aculepeira carbonarioides based on the broken dorsal pattern on the female. You have both A. carbonarioides and packardii in your region. I'd certainly like to see more of your spiders from 'way up there'.

We don't recognize it.
Wonder if it might be Aculepeira? Lynette may know since she sees that genus relatively frequently. Boy, you were way out there!

Before you posted...
we had exactly 4 images of 1 species from Nunavut. Pretty much everything you post is going to be a territorial first for BugGuide.
