Bunch O Ptiliids

Bunch O Ptiliids
Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA
Size: < 1 mm
Lots of featherwinged beetles from a berlese of 'fungus' sample. For scale, the largest individual on the left is slightly less than 1 mm. (Same sample as my previous Tectosternum)

It was a nice sample with nine beetle families represented as well as a couple of ant species and about five kinds of parasitoids.

Good job, Brad.
I'm anxious for the time when I can begin Berlese funneling in Ecuador. I should be moving later this year.

Thats awesome Jim
Best of luck with the move.
