I'm torn on this one. My fir
I'm torn on this one. My first instinct was Archips georgiana, however I am not too familiar with that species. The other possibility is the highly variable A. argyrospila, however I don't know the extent of the variation of Florida specimens.

Thanks for the help Jason. This moth is having a BOOM year to say the least. There are thousands in my backyard right now. I raised this guy from a caterpiller and he happens to be on the "lighterside" in coloration.... most look more like which was a shot of a random moth in my yard. I wanted to have a more representative individual ID'd. These caterpillars were/are only in my oak trees.
