Alameda County, California, USA
March 30, 2011
Size: 7.9 mm nose to wingtips
On an outside wall, holding still despite several approaches of the camera. This specimen is less iridescent than some found earlier this month very nearby. We have a few pieces of old firewood near the house. I think these moths are pupating in it and I find them the morning after they eclose.
