Moved from Pheidole.

Fire Ants?
That's just a guess.

Ants
The large ant is a Ponerine genus Odontomachus, the little ones which are so intent on having it for dinner are Pheidole. No idea as to the species of either though, however there are only three species of Odontomachus recorded in Florida so that may be not to hard to track down.

Not imported
fire ants. These did not sting.
I do believe there are some native fire ant species in FL that are being displaced by the imported ones, but I am not familiar with them.
