I think it is probably a "Common Short-tailed Cricket"
Anurogryllus arboreus. I think this one would be darker than average.

 
Are you sure about the genus?
or are there other, similar-appearing genera that this could belong to?

 
There may be others, but I could only find the one
species that seems to fit based on appearance and location. I don't know the species from first hand experience though, and most published photos are of lighter colored insects (but often very similar in all other respects including color pattern). Most species can vary a fair amount in color, so that doesn't bother too much. If I find a better candidate I will post an update here, but for not this seems the best fit.
