Supported at the Lagoa (Megalopyge) genus level by DNA barcoding, BOLD LPOKE017-10
This specimen is shown here: BOLD:AAU7768
The nearest species is Megalopyge crispata but the match is off by 3%.
Found at UV light near pond in wooded area of a flood plain.
