Ctenus captiosus
How do you know the species?

Edwards 1989, The Florida false wolf spider, Ctenus captiosus
I am going by Edwards 1989, The Florida false wolf spider, Ctenus captiosus. Unless literature has been updated, captiosus is the only species of Ctenus in FL. The spider pictured is not Anahita punctulata, a smaller species also found in FL. I think you sent me the link to this article. http://bugguide.net/node/view/474196
